R U OK? at work… and the job market becomes busy with contracts….

With mental health so high on the Agenda for workplaces I thought you may be interested in  hearing about the best practice intervention workshops held in Melbourne and Sydney this month by the Centre of Corporate Health. This will be of great interest to HR professionals, OHS practitioners, Injury Management Consultants or Senior Executives working in professional private or government organisations.

Mental Health in the workplace is a growing concern for many organisations, particularly those where employees are in high stress and demanding professional environments. The Centre for Corporate Health program introduces you to the industry’s best practice intervention strategies to assist your organisation to better understand, detect and respond to mental health issues at work. The job market seems to be busy with lots of short term contracts available to help teams get projects over the line before the end of the year. We have seen a surge in Marketing and Event administration roles as clients are gearing up for their end of year events and  securing key relationships for 2015. There are many projects that clients are keen to close off by the end of the year. Clients continue to go through change and are sourcing strong HR Generalists and Managers to guide their employees through transitions and resizing. IT Projects are given the go ahead (or are just about to start), so that is positive for IT professionals.

Hope you are enjoying this spring weather if here in Australia….
